Yesterday I was halfway through a Bird of Paradise pose when it became apparent to me that I wasn’t going to make it to a full leg extension. If you’re not into yoga, Bird of Paradise refers to balancing on one foot with your hands clasped back around your other leg so the knee folds over the elbow.
